Embrace the Poa

Spending an afternoon the other day with some of the brightest minds in sportsturf management and I walked away with one conclusion... Embrace the Poa.

On another note, really looking forward to tomorrow. Spend some time her and get some quiet time before the long weekend where she won't be around for 3 1/2 days. Make the time count tomorrow.

Skipping through the last couple of days trying to focus on my future has been a long process. Trying to keep my balance through it all and still maintain. I know what's coming could be wonderful, but my inability to have patience could hurt me. Breathe in and focus. My mantra for the foreseeable future.

She is amazing and I need to just be patient. I can do this.

A year has gone by:

The job has been great. New promotions, increased portfolio, great new friends. Things are good there. At home? Not so good. Times appear to be changing. With this comes the need for me to begin the process of moving forward. What is in the cards is anyones guess. But I know that remaining in this place, state of mind, this situation is not the right thing to do.

Now there is much hope on the horizon. She is a friend. But I know that we both want more. She will alter my landscape forever I believe. Time will tell.

It's good to be back.
